As an introverted ponderer who's still overcoming a stutter, writing has been my biggest outlet. A way to hide behind the comfort of my screen and share, without fear or reluctance, a bit of the whirlwind of thoughts I have.

But with the advent of Artificial Intelligence, I face a conundrum.

On one hand, AI, at its core, can help me in my churn rate. Currently, I spend close to 3 weeks crafting a ponder to a level my heart so desires. AI, as the idea goes, holds the promise of being able to help me create more content at a much faster rate.

I imagine being able to tell a machine to just write about any topic known to man, and it will. With the skill of any expert that's ever lived.

But on the other hand, my ponders are not just content I create to check a box or get anything in return. Trust that a chunk of my ponders have my heart and soul poured into it. It's such that you can feel what I feel as I walk a journey with you through my thinking process.

My ponders, like this very one, carry a piece of me. And so it's even difficult to optimize them for virality. I struggle to share my ponders with the larger social media world precisely because they're too personal, too raw, too real for algorithms that reward quick consumption over deep connection.

AI text, unfortunately, is just bland, informative and soulless. Yes, it can tell you about how plastic chairs are made, but it certainly cannot advise you to serve item 13 at your events - which is important to me, and why I wrote that post.

AI cannot see Olonka and go like.... that's the African problem - a disregard for excellence and precision. Or it can't see boiled groundnut and exclaim: branding! No, it cannot.

And even if it could, AI writing is just like KFC or any fast food. Bland, mass-produced, and quick. But it can never surpass my mum, Daavi Enyo's Akple with Fetri detsi. That food is gorgeously *mmmuah*.

It's not even because it takes long to make, but precisely because it's made with an ingredient no fast/mass produced food can compete with. It's made with love. True, deep, passionate love.

So although I am "Mr innovation should run our world and change everything", I'm delighted to still remain primitive and write ponders from scratch. Even if it'll take me a month or more, and give me just 2 likes.

Because it's out of love, and no one, not even AI can recreate the love and passion I pour into every word. Yes, I love you. But not more than my queen tho.

Yours Truly
